Really? Such is the sad state of affairs that this no more seems new to anyone. I wonder when i shall get to watch a good Hindi movie which is NOT a lift off from a Hollywood/Korean/Finnish/God knows whatsoever flick.. Sheh...
P.S: Btw, got to watch Shyam Benegal's 'Welcome to Sajjanpur'.. A lil slow, nevertheless decent!
The Apartment is really nice. I agree. btw, the animated film "Arjuna" looks good. Surprising. The first "mature" bollywood animated film with, well, late 90s Hollywood graphics. Good enough.
I know. That's what they call in failm-making 'creative liberty'. Out of topic, but the only fantasy movies i'm desperately looking forward to are the two Hobbit movies. 3 and 4 years of wait. Agony.
i haven't seen this one, but have heard about it. There's another french movie called Le Apartement with Monica Belluci in it which i watched recently. They made a hollywood movie out of it called "Wicker Park", changed the ending a bit. So bollywood isn't alone in this copying business. =P

ReplyDeleteYes yes. I saw the 'Arjuna' promos too. But, I think they got the 'Lokkhhyobhed' part horribly wrong.

ReplyDelete# M.B - When are they going to be released in India ? We always seem to get everything late.
SInce this is a 300 million greenback production, they should be released worldwide at the same date.
ReplyDeleteThat's 'wonderful', for a change. :)
